I have followed these conversations and insights closely - what a wealth of resources that were shared. But, I wonder if we can expand the conversation to connect the very real issue of poverty vs. financial literacy. I want to introduce this opinion piece to jump start this conversation. http://bit.ly/2JhT0cV.
So, I see financial literacy having two primary goals - one is to help people learn how to manage their cash assets so they can live a sustainable life. The other goal, to move people out of poverty, requires a combination of financial literacy and access to services and resources.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. What are the resources you believe will help move a person out of poverty? I'm looking forward to the discussion.
