How This Works

Step 1

To participate in the ABLE Act online dialogues, you must first Log In using your email and password from our past dialogues. If you are new to the dialogues and this is your first engagement, please Register. The Log In and Register links are located at the top right-hand corner of each dialogue page. Step 2

Once you have logged in, you can access the ABLE Act Online Dialogue Topics by clicking on one of the dialogue topic buttons highlighted in the middle of the page. An image of the dialogue topic buttons are shown below:

On the dialogue topic pages you can read more information about the dialogue topic by clicking the More Details link under the dialogue description. An image of the More Details link is show below:

Once you click on the More Details link, scroll down to the middle of the page where you will find additional information presented under the More Details section. An image of the More Details section is show below:

Step 4

You can post your ideas to the dialogue by clicking the Submit New Idea button. An image of the Submit New Idea button is shown below:

Step 5

If you would like to submit an idea, click on the Submit New Idea button and then fill out the idea form. An image of the idea form is shown below:

  1. In the pop up box that appears on your screen, type in a title that describes your idea in the "Title" field.
  2. Type in the details you would like to include about your idea in the "Description" field.
  3. Choose a topic from the drop down list. You can only choose one of these topics, so please select the one that best fits your idea.
  4. Click the "Submit" button to post your idea to the dialogue. Please note that the "Title," "Description," and "Topic," fields are mandatory, so you must complete all three items in order for your idea to successfully post.

Additional Information

To read an idea, simply click on the idea title. Each idea is individually listed in its own box under the "All" and "Popular Ideas" tabs.

To vote on an idea, simply click the green up arrow for "yes" or the red down arrow for "no". The arrows are located in the right upper corner above of each individual idea box as highlighted in the image below:

To submit a comment, select the link "Add Your Comment" located in the bottom left hand corner of each idea.
